This session will be livestreamed from our Adelaide professional development day on Saturday 23/05/26, and will be available on our Educator Portal after the PD day. This item is a ticket to an ONLINE professional development session only, NOT to the in-person session in Adelaide. With the digital device rules, there is a lot of confusion about what you can and cannot do with children. Some Educators avoid tech altogether, thinking that means screen time, which artificially limits children’s ability to succeed in Learning Area 5. This session will explore other ways of using the wonderful world of technology in innovative and fun ways.
This session will run from 11:30am-1:00pm Adelaide time (12:00pm-1:30pm Melbourne time). Zoom details will be distributed via email prior to the professional development day. Certificates will be emailed to all participants after the session. This session will be presented by Kathi Hewitson, tommeginne woman and winner of the National Family Day Care Australia Excellence in Family Day Care Coordinator of the Year award 2022.
