This session will be livestreamed from our Melbourne professional development day on Saturday 26/07/25, and will be available on our Educator Portal after the PD day. This item is a ticket to an ONLINE professional development session only, NOT to the in-person session in Melbourne. For a ticket to the in person session, please see the “In Person Professional Development” section of our shop.

As well as looking at 8 Ways of Learning again, learn how this can be applied to our pre-literacy program. We will explore how these two ways of supporting children’s learning work together, including some practical ideas for Educators to implement.

This session will run from 11:00am-12:30pm Melbourne Time (10:30am-12:00pm Adelaide time). Zoom details will be distributed via email prior to the professional development day. Certificates will be emailed to all participants after the conclusion of the session. This session will be presented by Kathi Hewitson, tommeginne woman and winner of the National Family Day Care Australia Excellence in Family Day Care Coordinator of the Year award 2022.

Please note: these sessions will be recorded for our Educator portal, so our Educators can reference and review these sessions in the future.

They have been stewards of this land for time immemorial, caring for and promoting the welfare of the land and those who rely on it. We give our respects to their elders, past and future, and especially other Elders who live, visit and work alongside us. We honour and respect their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this country. We aim to respect cultural heritage, customs and beliefs of all Indigenous peoples.
