In this session we dive into what the maths curriculum looks like for young children. Maths is so much more than just number and counting. Join us to explore some of the more challenging topics to plan for, and share some examples showing how educators can introduce these topics in age appropriate, play-based ways using everyday resources and loose parts. You are probably already doing it without realising!
Free for FFDC Educators and those with an active application. $25 for Educators and staff from other FDC, OSHCs and LDCs. Available in person and online. Places are limited: In the event this session is fully booked, priority will be given to the FFDC team.
This session will run from 9:30am-11:00am Melbourne time (9:00-10:30 Adelaide time). Please arrive early so we can start promptly. Morning tea provided. BYO lunch. Certificates will be provided to all participants after the session. This session will be presented by Alyce Picone, Field Coordinator with FFDC.
