This session will be held at FFDC’s Adelaide office, 102/2 Greenhill Road, Wayville SA. This item is a ticket to an IN PERSON professional development session only. For a ticket to the Zoom session, please see the “Online Training” section of our shop.
Learn how you can celebrate the milestones in a child’s life and help them explore the many cultures of our wonderful land. Experience the ways we can inclusively celebrate all in our service and help all our children learn about Australia through the lens of diversity.
Free for FFDC Educators and those with an active application. $20 for Educators and staff from other FDC, OSHCs and LDCs. Available in person and online. Places are limited: In the event this session is fully booked, priority will be given to the FFDC team.
This session will run from 11:30am-1:00pm Adelaide time (12:00pm-1:30pm Victorian time) and will be followed by a communal lunch sharing cultural dishes. Please arrive early so we can start promptly. BYO morning tea for yourself and please bring a small dish which reflects your cultural background to share. (Please ensure you have a full listing of ingredients and be aware that we only have a microwave to reheat food, so picnic goods might be the best idea.)
Certificates will be provided to all participants after the session. This session will be presented by Kathi Hewitson, tommeginne woman and winner of the National Family Day Care Australia Excellence in Family Day Care Coordinator of the Year award 2022.
