We’re so proud to share that Foundations Family Day Care has once again been recognised for outstanding quality and dedication — receiving 9 awards in this year’s Excellence in Family Day Care Awards! This amazing result continues a long history of success for our service and highlights the care, commitment, and professionalism of our Educators and Coordination Unit.

Our journey of recognition began in 2022 when our ningimpi (Director and Coordinator), Kathi Hewitson, was named National Coordinator of the Year. In 2023, two of our wonderful Educators received Regional Educator of the Year awards. Then, in 2024, we made national history, with four of our Educators receiving regional awards (a record!), and we became the first and only Early Childhood Education and Care Service to win a Telstra Best of Business Award for Victorian Indigenous Excellence.
This year, from more than 5,000 nominations across Australia, our team has set another record — earning 9 awards in total!
